On the 18th of May, The PreCom Society Officers and other participants will be conducting a Leadership Training Seminar at Mt. Cliraya in Laguna.

In its bid to release at least two newsletters per semester, The Treviso, the PreCom Society's official student publication will be conducting qualifying exams to fill the following positions:

Editor-in-Chief {must have been an experienced EIC in one or more publications}

Manging Editor {must have been an experienced Managing Editor in one or more
publications. Must have the clearest ideas on how to handle a publication in money matters}

News Editor {must have participated in the National Schools Press Conference and has joined
the Category Newswriting in either filipino or english medium}

Feature Editor {must have participated in the National Schools Press Conference and has joined the Category Feature Writing in either filipino or english medium}

Literary Editor {must have participated in the National Schools Press Conference and has joined the Category Feature Writing in either filipino or english medium}

Photojournalist {must have participated in the National Schools Press Conference and has joined the Category Photojournalism in either filipino or english medium}

REVIEWS

.:. Annually, the PreCom Society conducts reviews normally a week or two before the preliminary and final examinations. Based from previous experiences and thoughts about how their former professors give examinations, the now second year students give the idea of manner or approach the first year professors have during examinations.

TUTORIALS

.:. A first this academic year, the PreCom Officers and proven good tutors plan to conduct free of charge tutorials for both freshmen and sophomore students of the college who have deficiencies in subject areas like mathematics, english, etc.

QUIZBEES

.:. Interested students may apply for qualifying exams so as to determine the four worthy intellectual students of the PreCom Society who would represent the organization in the Inter-Org Debate called InQuest.

THE TREVISO

.:. The Treviso is the official student publication of The PreCom Society. Interested writers, photojournalists, editorial cartoonists and desktop publishers may apply for qualifying examinations and auditions.

OTHER ACTIVITIES

AMAZING RACE II

.:. Since two (2) positions of this year's line of officers are still empty, the organization will have this activity. With objectives of finding the right and worthy precom student that will fill the prestigious slot, the project heads will be conducting a modified race full of work, responsibility and confidence.

STUDENT PARTIES

.:. Each year, a wide array of student-focused parties are held. Acquaintance Parties, Concerts and Gigs for a Cause, Off-Campus Bar Parties and the like will be expected this year.

THE PRECOMSOC TEAM

.:. In relation to sports, there are two segments of the pcs team. The Volleyball Women and Basketball Men. As to other aspects, The Debaters Club, Inquisitor's Guild, PreCom Dancers, PreCom Theatre Artists, PCS Models and other organizations are available to join to. Auditions, Examinations and Interviews will be held. Announcements will be made for this matter.

PRECOM WEEK

.:. First week of February will be dedicated to the frist and second year students of the College of Commerce and Accountancy. This event will be the main Sportsfest of the Society. Normally, this event hold the championship games of various sports, and the observation of total class participation.

COMMERCE WEEK

.:. Happening every year, the PreCom Students are challenged to compete with other s5tudents with majoring programs such as Accountancy, Economics, Business Administration and Entrepreneurship. In different contests and sports, these event is expected to promote camaraderie and sportsmanship.

THE PRECOM STAFFERS AND JUNIOR OFFICERS

.:. Students who believe they are active and capable of being student leaders are encouraged to join these league. After trainings, workshops, team buildings and series of works, these students who will be staffers before being junior board members will be judges objectively accordiong to the points given by senior officers and advisers in order to determine the lineup of next year's team of leaders.

*** These activities are yet to be planned and approved. Other activities may be put into concreteness, the webmaster will keep you posted.

Loving God, we commend to your care the Holy Father, John Paul II, who has passed from this life.
Your grace made him diligent and energetic in serving you and your people for these many years.
May that same grace now crown his generous efforts and work with joy and peace in your presence forever.
We thank you for his leadership and courage in proclaiming your word and serving the Body of Christ and our world.
